About Outage Atlas

Outage Atlas is an independent, self-service calculator for a simple question: what would it take to keep your essentials running?

The tool helps you compare a full appliance list with a smaller essentials list, estimate energy needs and check a few published battery specifications. You can adjust every power-loss assumption and save or share your plan without creating an account.

Our approach

Show the math. Label unknowns. Distinguish manufacturer specifications from assumptions. Avoid inventing test results, customer reviews or a promise that a particular battery will work with every appliance.

How the site can be funded

The intended business model is retailer referral commissions. Any active paid links are labeled near the comparison cards. The first release uses ordinary manufacturer links and earns no commissions until an approved affiliate configuration is activated. No payment details are collected by this site.

Orders and product help

We do not sell or ship equipment. The manufacturer or retailer handles purchasing, installation guidance, returns, warranty and product support. Use the self-service field notes and methodology for calculator explanations.

Corrections

The dated manufacturer links let you check source specifications yourself. If a value appears outdated, use the custom-capacity field and verify the exact model directly. This small reference set is not the entire market and is not an independent product-testing service.
